RE: Olde Eynesford/swiss in the Rocklock
When giving Olde Eynsford a good try, over a year ago, I used it just a little bit in a muzzleloader. It is "hotter" than plain old GOEX and that made me basically restrict Olde Eynsford to cartridges and I keep my GOEX for the frontloaders. I might have done more experimenting with the Olde Eynsford in the frontloaders but I have a rather good stock of GOEX powders already. And I found that my sight settings with those traditional non-adjustable sights on the muzzleloaders would need to be changed. Or, I'd need to change my powder charges with the muzzleloaders. It was simply easier to stay with the GOEX for the flintlock and percussion guns. Shoot sharp, Mike
