Uberti 32wcf
Messed with this neat little rifle a little bit this afternoon.

Just shooting sitting at about 35 yards. First I choreographed some loads.
7.3 grs. of Lilgun and the 120 gr bullet from Big Sky Components rolled across the screens at 1307. Then 20 grs. of Eynsford 3f same bullet at 1315.
Then for fun a few older Winchester factory loads with the 100 gr jacketed bullet show a speed of 1127, but those had over a 50 fps spread..

Target with the lilgun load. Not great, but not shabby either.

Then targeted the OE loads, I did fire more after this target and those seemed to fall a bit closer into the middle of the group. There's some promise here, but for now I think I could take either of these loads out to go gong dinging and do fine.

Don, Uberti makes a nice looking rifle don't they. I had one in 44-40 and it showed promise but I got to needing cash for single-shots so there she went. Glad you are having fun with yours. Bet you get her producing better targets all the time.

Hey Ranch, I think I still have my old copy of #311316 hollow pointed. Would you want to try some of those? Shoot sharp, Mike

Oh not right now. Got to many irons in the fire, and the weather is just the pits. So I'll pass on that for now, but maybe later on.
I think this thing will shoot pretty well, just need some time to get serious with it.

Don,
I load for a couple of .32 WCF guns and have reeasonable success with a 105 grain bullet from an Accurate mould 31-105C. It drops at 314 which I use as cast for a Win 92 with good results. I size the same bullet to .311 for my Marlin 94, a pair of revolvers, a C96 Mauser and CZ52. When the weather and irons permit, let me know and I will send you some of theses to try. I can size them to .311, .309 or .308 if you wish.
Dan

By the way, a super fine looking rifle.

Dan, I'm casting with the Lyman 311008 for Sue's Marlin 94 (16:1 alloy). What are you loading for your Marlin? I haven't found a combination that I like yet. So far 10 grains of IMR4227 have given best results, haven't had luck with Unique which I was counting on since that's what I have the most of. I haven't seen any difference on the target between rifle or pistol primers. We are looking forward to the lever shoots this coming season.

Thanks Dan.
I have the ribs 98swc mould that drops at a bit over 100 grs and at 313 diameter. Just been to lazy to cast any of those, so been buying the bullets from John to load the 32's. Do appreciate the offer tho.
