Just a shout out to Don from whom I learned about this mould/bullet at some other forum weeks ago when beginning my research. Decided to try my hand at it w/ lead ingots f/ an MRI machine my neighbor gave me and tin f/ BACO. Using the small (5lb) Lee melter. Did the 20:1 w/ sawdust flux and found the proper settings after first batch were wrinkled and shiny and second were frosted. From here and after breaking in the mould I managed 40 consecutive keepers and left the last 10 in the pot. What a blast. Decent mould I reckon (meehanite f/ Graf's)--crisp lines, easily completed bottoms, clean drops, and true .458 sizing. Ima little jazzed. Cheers, Doug

Wait till you see what happens when you stuff them in the case on top of 69 hrs of 2f OE and a .060 fiber wad.

Gonna drag my wife and her son out to Ft. Dix tomorrow. They have a 200yd range, free to the public. They'll be workin thru various 30-30 loads and I'm stuffin these as we speak. According to the shallower seating depth these require as compared w/ the previous pre-cast I loaded, I oughta be able to get 70 gr @ .30" compression. Thanks again Don.
