Have you considered a Hoke Sight, they are of very good quality and reasonable.

RE: Lee Shaver Economic Sight
Hi Klaus,

Just installed my Shaver Economy set and encountered a coupla things. I'm mounting on a Shiloh and not Pedersoli, but it may still apply. The dovetail on the globe is a shallower angle than was my barrel notch/mortise and required a lotta filing. Secondly, and even tho it specified for my rifle, the mounting screws only went in about 30% of the way, even after a lotta steel wool on them and even tho they seemed to match up exactly w/ the filler screws that came outa the tang holes. It's also a flat base even tho there's considerable contour to my rifle. Bottom line was that I had to use rawhide under the Soule as a spacer to allow the screws to even work, leavin me with about 15 points on the staff. It's kinda unsightly, a flat base over thick rawhide just to make it work, and left me perturbed but unsure who to be unhappy with. Felt like I was either bein manouvered into havin to use the most expensive set (MVA), or that Shaver just didn't care. Maybe both. I'll contour the Soule base eventually, but I'm not messin with the screws or holes--the rawhide is gonna have to stay for now. Cheers, Doug

p.s. Operationally they're great and certainly solid enough. And if I need additional apertures for various lighting conditions I can modify the cup easily enough, but the aperture peep hole they have in there gets almost completely filled by the globe, which is nice. And I also got the long range in the hope that it'll serve me that long.
