A SPECIAL LONG RANGE BLACK POWDER TARGET RIFLE MATCH
The purpose of this match is to establish the best SOLO-BPCR long range shooter. BPTR rules will apply for
the match and the equipment (BLACKPOWDER ONLY) All classes will compete head to head (Scope, military,
Tollofson, Women, Junior …)
With the exception of the following:
1. NO COACHING. Target assignments and shooting partners will be drawn from a hat. Shooting partners
will keep your score only. The Lodi scoring method will apply ONLY UNTIL YOUR FIRST SHOT IS ON PAPER!
Once you have cut paper no communication between shooter, pits and score keeper will be allowed except to
verify scores.
2. COURSE OF FIRE. You will be allowed only 3-sighter shots and 10 shots for record @ 1000-900-800
yards. Normal pit duties and 3 relay rotation will apply.
3. TIME LIMIT. Each shooter will be allowed a 3-minute prep period and 20 minutes to fire 3-sighters and 10
shots for record. Please be on the 1000 yard line no later than 7:15 AM on match day for target and relay
assignments. Firing will commence @ 8:00-LATE ARRIVALS WILL NOT COMPETE
4. AWARDS. 1st thru 3rd place will be awarded. To be presented at the FRIDAY at the end of the match.
5. EAST/WEST CHALLENGE The top 4 scores shot by shooters with their residents east of the Mississippi
river with be summed and compared to the top 4 scores shot by shooters with their residents west of the
Mississippi. Each year we will announce is the match results if the east or west won. Dependent on turn out
we may increase the number of master class scores used in the tally.

Mr. Gregg will have all that finalized way before 2017 Match Day I am sure. Quite efficient chap is he, usually...which may not be really his fault if the dates are not subject to being finalized at this point in time. I think he at one time wanted to have it in June, let's be patient, he will let us know as soon as it is set.

The Wisconsin boys at tops, it will be a good match. Hopefully it will be over attended.

Zack it is a well run match. They expanded the range so there are a few more targets.
