Mike had asked about pics a while back and someone over @ Shiloh is asking for them as they try to decide on options. I wasn't able to attach them there and figured I'd just do it here and refer him to this site. Hope that's ok. These are just to show the wood I got w/ only the semi-fancy options. Cheers

Just yer standard 45-70 JR. I'm a complete newbie to shooting and was told to start there. Gotta get some decent pics to be sure.

Nothing wrong with 45-70. I have been playing with it for a couple years and still am a complete novice.

Amen to that. Reckon the rifle and all that goes w/ the loading, casting, sights, etc., will keep me occupied well into the future. I couldn't be happier. Cheers
