She's a little rough on the edges, so it takes a bit of imagination to see this a a beautiful 44-90 st at some point in the future. That JP Lower stamp on the receiver was the kicker for me.

Aaaah, Haaaha, NOW, time to make the critical decisions.

A 44-90RS Borchardt, 16 twist....rumor has it they shoot pretty good with grease groove bullets.

Also hear they create problems for the other shooters on the line to keep up with.

Yup, and we may try and salvage the original buttstock on account of the Lower markings.. Have an inquiry into a gun engraver friend of mine... This one is going to be special.

Have you approached him about a pattern for a north end view of a southbound Hereford to grace the butt plate?

Could start a trend you know ?
