It works out about the same for the 40's, 44's and 45's. Not exact numbers but will get you close to the berm.

Kurt I am shooting a 28" MVA on a 45-70 Browning, I don't have my book it's in the shed in my shooting box but I will let you know tomorrow . They probably would let you shoot a few before they start. I'm probably going to be there on Friday evening to shoot a few myself.

RE: Milan buffalo shoot
Bill I should be there by 1600. It's about four hours from here driving the Gypsy wagon.
It will be nice to get away from loading for the Q and Baker's big hill. But time is getting short and I still have a lot of loading and casting to do. Shot up a lot of bullets in the new rifle and fitting the cases to the chamber. I really should stay home and get it done instead of empting more cases. Smile

Kurt my number for effingham for my 28 inch scope are from 200 up 7, up 9, up 9. They shoot 500 yards I think. My load is 67 gr. 1.5 O-E and a 520 brooks creedmoor . Hope this helps, Bill

RE: Milan buffalo shoot
Thank you Bill I will mark it in my book. Easy to make a quick change when you see dirt fly.

I hope that I get things done here to get going to Baker and the Quigley.
Things are really getting tight loading ammo for the trip. I have to take at least 1500 rounds to have enough for the matches. Last year I ran out.
I have some things I need to do besides loading that I cant get out of. Wedding and Graduation plus straying the fruit trees and cut grass so it will be iffy for Effingham. Looks like a big chance for thunderstorms for that weekend, but you guys shoot under cover so maybe they wont call the match.

Kurt

No I've shot in the rain before down there. Don't cut yourself short on getting things done to go out West, the baffles will still be there waiting for you. LOL
