RE: Midwest Championship, Alliance Ne.
It was a good match with crazy weather conditions. Saturday was very windy, cloudy, dark, and smokey. Someone was burning brush piles to the east and the wind blew the smoke across the range. Then it got dark with thick clouds and the wind picked up. So dark that I could see the flames and sparks out the barrel when I shot. For a spell it also rained so hard it was difficult to see targets. We made it through the day and had some good scores shot under those conditions.

Sunday was much better with some sun, light wind and generally decent conditions.

I managed to win the old farts division and took home a nice Tipton gun vise.
