Finally got a chance to give the setup a test. Shot the 40-65, 44-77 and 45-90. I like the way it works, and it is quick. I really think it's the best setup for shooting patched in the long range matches, but will need some twerking with the technique for silloutte.
Cleaning the felt wads for reuse will be the trick.

IMHO they are well worth the expense of setup.

That's good to hear Don. I think bore condition is the key to shooting these things well in the hot places. I'm sure it's a little quicker than running patches.

Are you going to be using them at Byers? I wounldn't mind having a look at them.

I think my fouling management is way better than it was earlier this year, but it's always good to be looking at further improvements.

Chris yes sir I'll be running them at Byers, and hopefully get things figured out for the silloutte match at Perry City. Be glad to show them to you. It is fairly quick just start one into the chamber put a dry patch behind it and push it thru with a cleaning rod.
Also will be shooting wrist rest at Byers, tried that out today as well. I like it. Think now I may have to pester the silloutte boys about letting that be legal for sillywets.

Chris I like it, it locks you down a bit more than cross sticks so using the laydown scope will be a bit different, but it sure is a bunch more steady than cross sticks.

Just got home from a match, brass in the tumbler, Sharps oiled up,sat down to see what's up and I find Don has been twerking. That's some funny shXX
