both eyes open
I shoot all firearms with both eyes open, also archery.

anyways I found that sometimes I might want squint with my left eye just a tad, when I do this my group at 300yds will move about 3-4 inches to the left, open the left eye back fully open and everything is back to normal.

yep, its all about trigger time and consistant good habits

RE: both eyes open
I sometimes have to close the left eye to get the right eye to focus on everything it's supposed to. I have not noticed any impact drift from doing so.

I use both eyes closed .... that way, you can't see how bad you've jerked the trigger.

Does cause impact shift though! Tongue

After over 60 years of shooting open-sights with my left eye shut, I have recently tried having both eyes open. It works ok, and I haven't noticed any POI shift, at least not yet. But that may change over the next 60 years Big Grin !

That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!
