Don, getting any shooting done in cow country?
I went to the range first thing this morning and found a single spot where the snow was low enough for me to shoot prone. Next time I'm going to bring a snow shovel Big Grin.

Nope, the dang windchill is just miserable. Friday is supposed to be good, hopefully I can stretch the legs on the Ballard and the 45-90 highwall. Then it starts snowing again Sunday and highs next week look to be in the teens and single digits..
I did step out in the back yard and burned a box of 22's on the chicken swinger one evening last week. Eron does a bang up trigger job on those Miroku 85's

You guys have it a bit colder than us, especially with that Wyoming wind I guess. The coldest I've shot in this month has been 16F. Today it was probably 36 :-), but it's mostly snow or miserable rain for us.

Yes but for the wind it wouldn't be to bad, but this winter the wind has really been a fright. It took the siding off of one of our neighbors house Christmas day.
For as dry as it is we've sure been swatted with high humidities, haven't seen the humidity lower than 35% and many days it's running in the 70% range. Winter is a peculiar thing this year.

It's all that space junk over Wyoming changing the climate Smile

Been nice here lately with the temp up in the 40's and melted most of the snow cover.

I get gladder all the time that Cody has our cows. With all the snow and wind, only having to feed these two senile ol saddle horses is making this retirement thing look better by the day.Rolleyes

I didn't know that you were retired Don. You'll get so much shooting done now you'll need a side job to pay for the lead and tin :-)

Today we're back to the usual "all day rain" with temperatures a few degrees above freezing. The weather people say it's going to be really nice here next week, but we see right through their lies :-) :-)
