Wyo State BPTR midrange championship
Hats off to the Outland family, or Rocky Mtn. Cartridge fame for the great job they did putting on this match. I don't have a list of all the sponsors at the moment but there were a number of quality prizes donated.
Rick Moritz shot well and came in first. Bryan Youngberg was hard on Ricks heels for second, and 3rd place was a tie between Chris Lippman (gunlaker) and Jack Odor , with Chris taking the honors with the higher x count.
We had two first time target rifle shooters, George and Linda Bonefield shot well for their first match, and we hope to seem them turn out again.
The temperatures were great for a match, the wind conditions and the mirage proved a bit sporty at times, and I was sure I saw smoke coming from the windage drums of more than one rifle at the end of a couple of relays.
Here's a picture of the final score sheet.

One other note here, keep the 3rd weekend in May next year on your calendars for this match.

Nice shooting Don! You were in the banana belt compared to this side of the hill.

Thanks Mike.
Yes the Big Horn basin was the please to be. On the trip up it was snowing , rainy and foggy for a while, the temps on the dashboard never got above 37, until I came out of the canyon and presto it hit 52 and never looked back until I got closer to home.

It was a pile of fun for sure! I just got home last night. It was a funny trip. Stuck in a snowstorm on the way out to the match and on the way home it was 92 degrees in some places.

I had a good time shooting with Bryan again, and managed a new personal best at 300 so that was pretty cool. I found a problem to solve for next time too.

On the way back I stopped at Buffalo Arms to give Dave some money for his bore wipers and a few other things.

If you guys are looking for an enjoyable match, I can recommend this one. This was my third year for this one and I've thoroughly enjoyed each time.

Chris.

Good show Chris!
Shooting with Bryan is a very good education how things should be done and he does his best to keep you on center. I watched him several times at different shoots.
