How much are you compressing with them?

RE: which wad?
.085 to .120 seems to be the sweet spot.

RE: which wad?
TNX-I'm compressing .370 or so, and that is causing the poly-wad to swell the case wall.
No issue with fiber.

RE: which wad?
If the cases are not squeaky clean the wad will grip on the sides and stretch the cases, this won't happen with fiber wads.

RE: which wad?
I've had the poly-wads case bulge with new, unfired S'line brass also.Undecided
My fired cases look polished inside and out, from using Dave Mauer's media.
I know I'm compressing a goodly amount. Just never thought a 'plastic' wad would bulge a case wall.Rolleyes
Think I was try'n to fix somedangthing that wasn't broke. Big Grin
Live n learn.....Wink
I'm back to .060 Walters fiber wad.

RE: which wad?
Gary, I use Daves media and soap also.I have never used that much compression so that must be it.

RE: which wad?
I'm run'n Old 'E' 2F in both my .45-70 and .45-90 Shilohs.
The 500 yd targets said that .370-.380 compression was the 'sweet spot' for groups with my PJ C'moor bullet.

RE: which wad?
I don't like the idea of a wad draggin' on the inside of a dirty case, so mine are clean inside. My wads are Walter's and they are 0.060!

Jim
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!
