Where I live, the wind is a major factor nearly every day. If you have enought deflection capability in your sight, you then have to fight the wind rocking you around on the bench or sticks. It seems that when the wind is off and the sky is clear, there is some pressing chore that has to be done and does not include shooting. I don't know how guys like Don McD get so good and still ranch.

in West Tennessee, we get many days in the fall with no wind, plus when the wind blows here, its easily readable

this makes shooting somewhat easier, at the same time if I were in other areas of the US I would be completely lost at this point of the game
