What happen to spring???
Just when I thought spring was here to get loads developed for the upcoming match in a couple weeks we get this. I can hardly see my 130 yard target.

On the second day of Spring we received 16.6"s of snow. Old man winter wasn't ready to let go just yet. Rolleyes

Worst time of the year! I have left over ammo and new loads to fire form and the weather suck's. Just warm a few degrees and I can get to the rifle range. I'm getting twitchy from not pulling triggers. Can not wait for the new season to start for paper and steel matches and range practice to start!!!

We had about 3 inches of slush on the ground this morning. Sun is out now and things are getting pretty soupy around here.

It has been different this winter for sure. We are in a lower growing season in the NW corner of Illinois. We are always colder in the winter then the surrounding areas. When I took the picture snow was falling at times I could not see 100 yards. Carol was talking to the kids one lives about 20 miles from here and the other 45 and they didn't get any snow or rain. The next day it got up in the low 50's and today heavy overcast but it might hit 50 again, 41 now. I have the jeep packed for the range and head over shortly. Alma is getting close and I need to get the .40 confirmed so I can load enough to shoot the silhouettes. But I will pack the .45-90 too Smile
