BPCR.NET Gone?
I frequent a lot of sites, BRCR.net being one. For the past couple of weeks now, it has been down and returns "403 Forbidden". Does anyone know if the site has finally bitten the dust?

Thru the years that site has had it's problems. It's been off-line for a few weeks this time

There are other sites that can provide tips, info and guidance thru the BPCR world Big Grin!

All the best,

Jim
That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it!

Thanks for the heads up, Jim. I've been getting that "403 Forbidden" pop up, also. That site has certainly had it's problems.

I wouldn't use that as any indication of Rick's well being or not. His name is Rick Shay and if people were really interested they could google search and see if there's any obits.

Back in the months leading up to the creation of this forum, Bob spent a good bit of time tracking him down and inquiring about purchasing the BPCR.net site. As that site had been down off and on for a couple of years. Finally Bob got frustrated and started this site, and sometime after that got a negative response from the BPCR.net. Then eventually that site did come back up, but with no shortage of problems. Rick apparently lost all if not most interest in bpcr after he moved from Colorado to Texas.
I am rather amused at the amount of grieve shown that a web forum that hasn't worked very well for a number of years is attracting, when there are a number of other web forums around, and a plethora of facebook pages.

Could be but last I knew he was living in Texas. He was a tech for Hewlett Packard , so I sometimes wonder about why that web site had so much mechanical problems over the last 10 years.
