Does that include your CBS?
Plot your shots the next time.....
Gary
yes its 300 yards, what is CBS, I normally plot my shots, just sorta been lazy lately
CBS=Cold Bore Shot(1st shot  )
I would SWAG a 'lazy' grip/hold is part of the group too.

RE: constructive pointers needed please
What about 'cheek-weld' to the stock and follow thru, after the shot breaks.

Try a 30% smaller b/eye target.
I use 200 yd target for 300 etc.
Aim small....Miss small

Don't know how far west you are in Tenessee, but we shoot an informal little gong match on the 2nd saturday of each month near the little town of Boaz Ky, between Paducah and Mayfield in the west end of the state. Shoot out to 400 yards. If it's not too far. you ought to come play sometime.

back in my competition skeet shooting days I made many trips to the Chief Paducah Gun Club to shoot competition skeet, this was just a fat 2 hour drive.

We shoot a 40 round match, same general format as a regular sillhoute match with a few exceptions: We've only got 400 yards, so the size of the targets is reduced to match the reduced range. The animals are all swingers, not knock-down. No time limits. Shoot all the sighters you need. I generally need 60-65 rounds for a match.
It's all very laid-back and informal, just kind of a fun match. Sometimes there are 7 or 8 of us, sometimes just 3 or 4. There's a couple us us that make a lot of smoke and noise, and ocassionally get lucky and hit something, but there are 2 or 3 of the regulars that are a genuine threat to win any match they shoot.
Doesn't look to me like you need any more trigger time-may as well come on up. 1st match is free, Albert will feed you lunch, and I can guarantee you won't find a friendlier bunch to shoot with.
I'm gonna try to attach a link to a map to the range. The website says matches start a 10:00, but it hasn't been updated in a few years - usually starts around 9:00.

I will probably make the journey sometime in the spring, either before or after planting time in my area, just do not laugh to hard at a rookie that will have a ton or questions or no questions and wanting just to watch and keep ears open
