Mike it’s one of the perks of being a Whittington Center Patriot life member
Robby apologized all over himself as they are now in 357 instead of 44wcf.
Yup it’ll get shot planning on seeing if we can get the ladder sight to lob a few rounds close to the infamous white buffalo sometime between now and Sunday.
Will see if we can talk Glenda into letting us take some pot shots at the pistol caliber silhouettes after the 22 match SaturdayBig Grin

I've got one of the Winchester Miroku full length '73s, too. This one is in .44 WCF. I didn't like the Marbles front sight it comes with. It was too high anyway, so I replaced it with an original. Brought it to point of impact at 50 yards. I do wish they'd do a real color case hardening on the receiver instead of the chemical case colors. It is a nice rifle, though!

RE: New levergun
I like my Winchester 73 short rifle in 44-40 other than the front sight was too tall. I replaced it with an ivory blade and got it to where you could shoot 100 yards, but that ivory blade proved problematic also. I just got a new bead front sight to put on it, but haven't had a chance to put it on just yet.
I prefer the blued receivers on the 73's much closer to what the originals were, except for the presentation guns that were color cased.
