Rick, Just so you'll know I haven't let go of my Louisiana roots.
Every year, mid October #1 Wife's uncle, who lives in Ruston, sends us two boxes of these babies! They came day before yesterday.

There's no place else on earth that a person can beg, borrow, buy or steal sweet potatoes like these. That North Louisiana dirt must have sugar in it. That girl guards these like they were gold! Her grandfather, over in Epps, used to raise them until he was about 99, then he started buying them from a farm between there and Delhi. Her uncle gets these from around Ruston someplace. The ones from Epps are the best though.
