Pro Shot 2.5" patches
Having used these for a long time and a preferred patch for all things cleaning B/P guns. I have found they are getting harder to find, BACO used to be a good supplier seems the bore pigs are now the preferred method for cleaning. I bought some of those and was not impressed and found them more time consuming with all things considered.
Perusing the internet search function found 250 count of mentioned patches for 9 $ a bag shipping was $8 for 3 bags. The price on the last bags I bought was $15 plus tax.
For those who like the Pro Shot patches, this about as good of deal anywhere.

RE: Pro Shot 2.5" patches
Randy go to Walmart and get yourself a roller fabric cutter and their plastic cutting board, it has 1" squares marked on it https://www.walmart.com/ip/45mm-Rotary-C.../131880395 and go to the fabric counter and get a yard of 100% cotton flannel for about $3.50 a yard, I usually get 3-4 yards and cut your patches. I can cut several thousand patches in less than an hour.
I unroll the bolt of fabric and found it in 4 layers and cut strips the diameter I like using then I cut the strips into the square patches. It takes me less then an hour to cut up three yards.
I use a yard stick to hold the material down and make straight cuts on their cutting board.

Great idea Kurt, I will look into it after using the current order up. Don, I used to get them from Midway too but they have'nt had them in a while and Kurt's idea is the best alrernative I've heard, most everything else out there is not very good.

RE: Pro Shot 2.5" patches
Kurt, I’m going to give this a try and by the time we get back to prairie country I should have a lifetime supply. But why the same old boring white when you spice things up with a variety of exciting bright colors? Same for paper patches, I think a red/white barber pole spiral would be eyecatching and perhaps improve gyroscopic stability?

RE: Pro Shot 2.5" patches
Good idea, Kurt. My wife sews and has a cutter, ruler, and a big board like that. She said I could use her tools to cut the patches if I bought her some more match ammo for her .22 silhouette shooting. (Hmm this may cost me more than if I just order them from Midway.)
