You guys are having too much fun, having six reproduction Sharps rifles in:

40-65
44-77
45-70
45-110
45-120
50-90

I can see the only need for me as far as another Sharps, is an original, in good working order and un-bubba'd '74 in 44 or 45 cal, that should do it.

It's a pretty spendy deal these days to find a good shootable original. I actually think the "bubba'ed" ones have a more interesting tale to tell, in as much as the owner liked the rifle enough to make it serve him well.

Don, I should have been a little clearer on my description of bubba'd, cutting buttstocks, indian tacks, drilling holes or milling dovetails for scope mounting on the barrel, ANY extra drilled holes anywhere, etc, etc.

I like leaving well enough [factory build] alone, did find a nice clean 40-70, but only had single trigger, iirc it was 8 grand shipped.
