Hearing Protection at the time of Shooting

I think hearing protection is necessary for all of us at the shooting competition. Different kinds of earplugs we wear at the time of the shooting because our choice is different. The electronic earplugs I think a better recommendation for this. It gives a limited sound to our ear according to our ability. The generic earplugs block the sound to the entrance to the ear. Kindly share your thought about it.
