I wish you could turn off the lawn sprinklers for a while.
We got 4-1/2" this morning.
Running to town to get gas for the mower is getting expensive at $4.86 a gallon and it takes 6 gallons to mow my yard.

Yup, your right.
It is getting smaller, I only mow the bottom 2 maybe 3 times a season just to keep the weeds down. Last week I mowed it for the first time and sitting on the mower the grass was head high. I should bale it up and send the Brome and Timothy grass west

Well we got another 12-1/10" of rain in less than 24 hrs again. Flood warnings are out and my drive way is washed out.
Freeport IL north of me 25 miles is flooded I hear.
If this keeps up through the winter I might have to dig a tunnel through the snow to get out.

Another 4-5/10" in the rain gauge again this morning. That makes 21" not counting the light rains of 2" or less in five weeks time frame. Man if it was snow and I hope it don't carry this into the winter it will be a big pile to shoot into

Spread it around Kurt. It's getting dry here. Soft dirt keeps plugging my excavator tracks. I have to stop frequently to clear them. Not fun on a steep hillside!
