The BIG Hill!
Well the shoot is over and I found a tree that has WIFI Smile
It was a great shoot and I had a great time, met a lot of new great folks that have the same passion for shooting that I have and Brian put on a great match. It was a frustrating shoot keeping up the the fast wind changes and that little 600 yard diamond had Henry the gremlin moving it from place to place other then where my bullet struck Smile

Brian let me follow him out to the targets to get a good look at the deep coulee or better the deep canyon, it is really impressive and I can understand why the odd wind changes it produces.
But regardless it is a beautiful and challenging range one I will go back to as much as I can again.

Wish now I would have packed more bullets. Between the Q and Big Hill I shot up over 1000 rounds and I have to pass up the 800-900-1000 MT Shoot on the Q range and hope I have enough I can scrape together for the MT 1000.

The .44-100 shot very good with the Olde Eynesford powder load using the KAL Elliptical bullet. I had some very good tight groups all the way to the 1023 yd target using this bullet and powder. Shot a 9 on the 600 and 800 and a 8 on the 900 during twitchy winds. Well pleased with the rifle and loads and Carolyn did a great job keeping me on the iron.

Again hats off to Brian and crew for the fine enjoyable shoot.

Pat Taylor was the match winner for both days.

Kurt I've got 200 of those 434 Bacos wrapped and ready, also have a bunch of those accurate bullets.
If you need me to ship them to you, let me know where.

TNX Don, but I still have 300 of the Baco bullets I can use. The KAL showed a slight edge over the baco bullets that I'm just about out of.

Right now I'm in Columbus Mt. and have to do some repair on the Gypsy Home after blowing a tire and see if I can get a new fuel pump for the generator so I can keep the temp down for Carolyn.

Okydoky. I got to thinking also you have that tapered Gibbs mould with you, it probably wouldn't be that hard to get John Olsen to run you a couple hundred from those blocks.
