Good ol Wyo, is home to 1/6 of the shooters registered to shoot at the 2013 Nation BPTR match at Raton this past month
5 of them shot into the top 50%
The neat part is Oli Shockley (Green River Wy.) shot the creedmoor from sitting off the crossticks , with a #3 chambered in 45-70 , and (are you ready for this:cool ) that nasty ol military butt plate. So much for all the hoopla about that military butt not being a good choice on a rifle.

Don't know Oli Shockley, but I'll bet he has a lot longer neck than me and it fits his body better than mine.. bobw

I actually prefer the #3 and military butt for offhand and shooting sitting. Just seems to fit better and falls into place better quicker sight aquisition than a shotgun butt.
