I need a PP mould for a traditional bullet
I have a #3 Shiloh that looks very much like I would imagine many of the 1800's rifles looked - 30" heavy octagon, military stock, grade 1 wood, pewter cap, lawrence sight, pack hardened finish. It is a 45-90 with a standard chamber and I understand the 45 2.4" likely didn't see much use in the buffalo fields but I like it anyway.
I am currently shooting a 475 grain flat point PP from Accurate with good results but I am thinking that I should try to get a more traditional PP bullet and load worked up for this rifle. I am thinking that means a bullet around 550 grains - what bullet shape should I be looking for in a mould and where can I find it?
thanks
