That looks an awful lot like the action I am making. I will try to post pictures when I get it done.

Welcome Kenl.

I have shot a rifle that had that underhammer action. I can't remember who made it but I think he lives in Washington or Oregon some place. If I was going to build a slug gun it would have that cation. The rifle I shot was a round ball bench rifle and it would put my .222 to shame @ 100 yards and my .222 is a fine shooter.

Plastikosmd did you ever think about selling on of the actions that you have laying around. I'm looking for something to mount a 1 3/8 barrel on?

Did you ask me before? I am sorry if I missed something. Was thinking of selling the action above and have guy from muzzleloading emporium looking into it.

I can't say it enough its is really great to have a site where you can actually talk BP bench and slug gun shooting without either getting am,e fun of or being told your not allowed to talk bout them because its is not traditional. I love traditional gun as good as the next guy but I am also really star, ting tiloke bench shooting guns also oh well enough about that. Just though I would give you an update where I am with my slug gun I bought. I have cut off the original breech and recut the breech. I am now working on making a the new underhammer action for it. I am working on the receiver right now.
