Stephen, Thanks a bunch for your comments. I was really pleased to get that story from Dean because no one else that I know of uses the .40/50 BN. Of course, I'm tempted to get one. And I do believe Dean used that gun at Quigley. Shoot sharp, Mike

I did, and while i did badly it was not the guns fault but mine alone.i have to shoot left handed as i cannot see th sights. But when i could it did do its part.i use the 285 gn bullet and the wind dont make a difference much at all with it. Only thing is its like eating potatoe chips you cannot stop shooting it

the trip home took a little while ,I stopped for a few days and visited friends , then had a surprise , my sister and her grand daughter were in Helena so I stopped and visited with them for a few days , we made a trip to Ft Benton and down to the Judith Basin , it was a good trip and my great neice was a real joy to meet,,a five year old with manners ,,
