Kaleb - Stephen Borud - 08-04-2014 ![]() Kaleb was just a few days short of 10 years old, at this point he had 6 years of hunting under his belt. Next year he will be able to hunt with a Sharps. It's cool to see him hold my 50 after we did a mile stock on this buck. Stephen RE: Kaleb - Don McDowell - 08-04-2014 Stephen it will be so good to see the thread about that young feller and his very own first antelope. RE: Kaleb - Stephen Borud - 08-04-2014 Yes Don. He's going to carry the 40/50 this fall to get use to it. That ought to get him fired up. RE: Kaleb - Don McDowell - 08-05-2014 Yup that sure should. You know another thing might be to set him up on a prairie dog town that hasn't been shot over to hard. Those gong matches at the Stuckenhoff might really give him a thrill with that little 40. RE: Kaleb - Stephen Borud - 08-05-2014 That's a good idea Don. Thanks RE: Kaleb - Don McDowell - 08-05-2014 Bring us some pics of the smiling dad and son.
RE: Kaleb - Dave Roelle - 08-05-2014 Excellent Stephen !!!!!!!!!!!!! That young man is having the time of his life, looks a bit chilly ? Is that the bullet you recently built the mold for ? Terminal effects look to be extrememly effective Dave RE: Kaleb - Stephen Borud - 08-05-2014 Yes it was a bit cold. Dave that's the mold I made lady year for my 50-100. It makes a nice hole ![]() Thanks Stephen RE: Kaleb - Dave Roelle - 08-06-2014 Thought thats what you would be shooting---------i have a set of brass blocks ready for grinding in and installing the alignment pins and such-----------not sure just what its going to be yet but it will be PP hunting Keep well and stay safe Dave RE: Kaleb - bobw - 08-06-2014 Stephen do you and the family have a 1000 rds run thru it yet? bobw |
