Kaleb was just a few days short of 10 years old, at this point he had 6 years of hunting under his belt. Next year he will be able to hunt with a Sharps. It's cool to see him hold my 50 after we did a mile stock on this buck.

Yes Don. He's going to carry the 40/50 this fall to get use to it. That ought to get him fired up.

Yup that sure should. You know another thing might be to set him up on a prairie dog town that hasn't been shot over to hard.
Those gong matches at the Stuckenhoff might really give him a thrill with that little 40.

Yes it was a bit cold. Dave that's the mold I made lady year for my 50-100. It makes a nice hole Smile

Thought thats what you would be shooting---------i have a set of brass blocks ready for grinding in and installing the alignment pins and such-----------not sure just what its going to be yet but it will be PP hunting
