there are two times when not using the best bullets possible loaded in the best ammunition is doing yourself a disservice.
one is working up a load.
the other is for sighters in a mid and long range target match.
don,
I am about to try tallow wiped on patches.
it seems to have a higher melting point than jojoba and not destroy the integrity of the patch as much.
rubbed on the surface it seems to soak in a little overnight.
pretty cool here at the moment, so will be interesting to see how summer compares.
wads need experimentation, as sometimes a thin hard one will give better bullet bumpup.
