RE: A little primer information
In the past I favored the Alcan primers.
Don mentions the Rem 9 1/2's but they gave me a bad taste several years ago with a bunch of vertical strings and I never went back to them. I have a friend that is a Remington collector he has some of the finest Hepburn's and very fine .22 rifles of kinds and if the ammo and primers don't say Remington he wont use it I seen him tape several trays of Remington primers together and tape them to a stick stuck in the ground and shot them, they made a heck of a bang, I asked him why are you shooting those primers? he said that is all they are good for Maybe they improved since then.
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.
