Eric your opinion is spot on with this. I have three .44-90 BN's and a .44-77 and the .44-90 bn burns cleaner then my .44-100 Rem straight both in the bore and what is left in the case. Also with the 90 .44-90 bn my first remark when the first bullet went down range, man this kicked up the dust faster then the .44-100 does with the same powder load. Smile
