C Sharps 1874

LOL, Thank You again for posting the pic pacecars, I am more than a little embarrassed to admit during the first two shots [high left, low left] I had forgot I was firing a 50-90 Sharps, don't know if others have found out, or maybe the 36 twist rifles with 473 gr bullets don't torque as bad.

After those shots I remembered what I needed to be doing, that is gripping that rifle akin to the way I do using a two handed grip during combat handgun, squeeze hard enough to get to tremor, back off to steady and keep it there, when I gripped this rifle firmly, I was rewarded with the last three in a ragged hole, I don't know about others, but I simply cant shoot ANY barrel sighted rifle any more accurate.

I have since peened down the dovetail cut with a small brass hammer for the sight chair, it's good and snug now and centered on the barrel flat, the next rounds will be fired with the ladder up to see where it lands out at 200 yards.
