RE: 438470 testing
Don and Kurt,

I like my Leatherwood scope I have on my .44-77 and I have it in the DZ mounts. I can go from 200 yards to 1000 yards without changing anything. The scope isn't anything special but for me it works well. There are better scopes out there I'm sure.

For my Creedmoor rifle, my 34" Hepburn, I would only use it for 800, 900 and 1000 yard shooting. I think I would have to go to a longer scope with a wider base spacing? If so it's not a problem.

On my ,22 I have the MVA B5 in the better mounts. The MVA mounts are not as good as the DZ mounts. The scope is clear and bright and the crosshairs are too fine, but they work on a .22 just fine.

I don't move my Leatherwood scope from rifle to rifle very often, but it only takes a few minutes when I do. It's no big deal.

I will probably look into a Creedmoor scope again this winter, but I didn't get anywhere the last time I set out looking for one so we'll see..
