The neck thickness of my Norma 2 7/8(2.9") is at .0115" at 2.886" length. Using my dial caliper I have an ID of .450" fireformed max., at 2.35" forward from the outside end of the case its still .450" ID using the calipers. I don't have any cases made from the 3 1/4" Norma basic maybe that is different. bobw
