Thoughts on the Creedmoor bullets of old
Since reading the equipment list in Perry's book and noticing the number of shooters either shooting Hyde's based long pointed bullets or Hepburn based long pointed bullets I have been on a search to find those bullets.
So far I have not been able to scare up an exact description or drawing, but I have found some inferences that may give us a good idea.
But for now I'm going to say that those bullets are going to be quite similar to current Money bullets or the modified money bullet profile that BACO offers. The old Metford bullet is probably quite a bit along those lines..
But the search continues....
