Quigley story in Outdoor Life
I haven't read it yet but there is a story about this year's Quigley doin's in the August issue of Outdoor Life.

Yup!

And on page 63 there appears to be a foto of "Smokin", from the frozen tundra of Minn.

Couple of the fellers that show up at shoot from the Cody Sand and gravel pit was in there too, one of em has the ugliest hat and shoots one of them east coast parlor guns... LOL

Thanks you! I haven't been able to find a copy. And that must be a report from 2013. Good story anyway, on a positive note which focused on the good times. A few mis-quoted calibers, I'll guess. And, in my opinion, the author gives the .45/70 a bit more credit than it deserves but there is really no problem with that. Some good press for Quigley.
