Anybody Shooting .327 Fed. Mag. In A Rifle?
I have a Ruger No.3 and I am thinking about having it rebarreled in .327 Federal Magnum shooting 150 to 165 grain cast bullets. This rifle is going to be a 200 yd. target rifle. I'm thinking that a 1:12 twist would give me the most accuracy.

What I am looking for is some smokeless load suggestions.

All my other shooters are BP and other than .22RF, I haven't owned a target rifle that I've shot anything but BP in.

I have a WTB ad posted here, but I will mention that I am looking for a factory stock set off a Ruger No.1.

Jack,

I found a bunch of .327 Fed. mag load info on Google, but most of it appeared to be pistol loads. However, there was a fair number of rifle loads on 1 internet forum on the Google list. Couldn't find anything in my loading manuals. Hope this helps.

Thanks. I just ordered this book from Amazon. "The Complete Reloading Manual for the .32 H & R Magnum (One Book / One Caliber)."
There is not much difference between the two calibers. I shoot both in my Rugers. One is a Single Six (.32 H&R Mag) and the other is a Blackhawk in .327 Fed Mag. that I shoot both in.
