Don, thanks for putting the photos up. I wish I had better pictures, but the rain and the mud kept that from happening. My compadre from Oklahoma and I stayed an extra day and sat in a couple of box stands over feeders --it is Texas, after all--looking for a shot at a feral hog, and truth is, we were really grocery shopping with our rifles. All I saw were some meadow larks, and he saw a couple of does, but deer season was closed. So buffalo it was, and the young bulls are much better table fare than the older ones. We had a successful hunt, got to spend some quality time together, and got some serious real world load and bullet testing done. It doesn't get much better than that. Shoot straight, rdnck.
