Hiwall rifle wanted
I would like to get a hiwall rifle for a rebarreling project. Doesn't need to be anything fancy.

Don, if nothing come up here, you may want to take a look over on the ASSRA.com forum. There is often high walls for sale there in all kinds of conditions and configurations. I will not say for positive but feel pretty sure that I have seen them from a plain action to way too nice for me to own. Since I am on there I will keep my eye open and pass along anything I see come up and let you take it from there.

Went and took a look and this is what I found. I don't think its what your looking for but maybe it is. I don't know if the pics will show up or not but it is a DST custom HW. cal 25-35, color cased and engraved, it does have the current owners initials engraved in the left side.

Thanks Sam, I'm just looking for something not to fancy or such, that we can spin this 16 twist Oregon barrel on and make a 45-90 paper patch gun out of.

Don, Have you thought about getting a new action? C. Sharps offers them and MVA had some new ones on display at Quigley. Shoot sharp, Mike

Thought about it, but then there's the added expense of stocks etc. This is something I was wanting to do on the cheap.

Ideal thing would be to find another Browning/Winchester bpcr at a bargain basement price.
