Casper BPCR gong match June 28

On Sunday, June 28, 2015, we held the latest edition of our BPCR gong matches at the Stuckenhoff shooters complex in Casper, Wyoming. After many of us got pretty well overheated on Saturday, we only had 7 shooters show up for Sunday's match. We put up a couple of portable shade covers to keep some of the sun off and got down to shooting. After everyone had a little time to get some sight settings and practice, we started the match at the 200 meter off hand and worked our way out to the 750 yard buffalo. We shot 8 shots at each of 5 targets.

Since it was getting hotter by the minute, we didn't dawdle or do anything to spend any more time in the sun than we had do. We were done with the match by about 1:00 and cleaned up and heading home by 2 or so. Thanks to all who came out, see you next time.
