If you are a wiper, these things are the cats meow. They are quick and thorough and work equally well with greasers or patched.
If you do decide to go with them, my advice would be order 2 kits for your caliber, and a box of the felts.
I soaked them in the napaoil/water solution and pushed them thru with an arsenal patch on the tip of a delrin rod.
Just be sure to put your patch pan well out in front of the muzzle as those buggers do gain some velocity and have a pretty good trajectory as they clear the muzzle.

Don were you using them at the regional this weekend? I watched Bryan using them. I've never seen a BPTR rifle shoot so quickly :-). I have set at home but didn't want to try them first at the match. I figured a new rifle/scope combo was enough experimenting for me.

Chris, yes I used them all the way thru, and Carol used them in her 40-65. Sure work slick.

I ordered me a set with some extra parts this morning, will try them out in my .45 caliber this fall. They look like they should work fine.

Got my bore wipes on Saturday, went to the range this morning to try them out. Put my oil/water mix in tub with the bore wipes and shot some 400 yard targets. All greasers,First 5 with my good load 4 out of 5 in a 6inch bull, looking good. . Then tried some different loads, not to good. I was putting a dry patch behind the bore wipes, by then all the Black gun guys showed up so I cleaned my rifle. Whoa lead mine! I've never got any lead out of this rifle before. On the way home I thought I should have put a oiled patch behind the bore wipe, so when I got home got my brass in the ceramic mix and headed out to a different range . This time I used water in the tub with bore wipes and followed it with a water soluble oil mix on the patch. This range only goes to 300 so set up a 10"swingers and put 20 shots right on top of each other. Clean up showed no lead. Guess you just have to figure these things out for them to work right.

if you were using bore riding nosed bullets you have just proved 2 points.
one is that the bore wipes and a patch really work for what they are meant to do.
the second is that bore riding nosed greasers only work in a lubed bore.
lubed as you did, or the lube in the barrel when blowtubing.

you just nailed the issue.
if most bore riding nosed greasers were paper patched, the bore ride part would have paper on it for sure.
all that saves most greaser shooters when using this type of bullet is that fact that they are blowtubing.
under these circumstances, the first shot is the most likely one to leave lead and a few more standing sil targets than usual.
one way to minimize this, other than prelubing the bore, is to use a soft wadstack and hard bullets to minimize bumpup.
when we say hard bullets, this does not include 16:1, as even 12:1 bore diameter bullets will take the rifling thoroughly.
