RE: Pulled the trigger
Yup,will probably get shipped Tuesday , with tomorrow being holiday and all, unless they got it out late friday. So thinking probably Friday at the earliest.

RE: Pulled the trigger
Don, How does your .44/40 shooting for you? I looked at those, but I'm kinda stuck on the percussion revolvers. End result was a Colt-Walker and a Colt 51 Navy, both Uberti. Fun to shoot, and both shoot well if I have my head in the game.

RE: Pulled the trigger
Don't have it yet, probably won't see it till the end of the week. But if it shoots as good as the 38-40 does I'll be pretty dang happy

RE: Pulled the trigger
No word yet. Loads are 12 gr. of bludot, or 35 gr OE 2f, under a 205 gr bullet from a lyman mould cast from 16-1.
Need to find some more Winchester or Hornady cases, these scrappiness I got in are nothing more than case blanks, straight as a string, you have to put the neck on them during sizing, and then fireform the stupid things..

RE: Pulled the trigger
Unique and WW231/HP-38 work very well.
Never tried BD in that caliber. I do use it in 9mm & .40S&W. Has to be one of the cleanest burning powders made.
Meters great from any PM I've used.

RE: Pulled the trigger
Bludot, gives some sizzling velocity from the 45 colt, and the 38-40 likes it real well. I get the accuracy of unique with it. Have a couple 3 cans of 231 but I like it best in the 45 acp
