It looks like for the AZ 1000 one would have to at least hold a 80 to be competitive.
What do they do as far as squatting and did they shoot with out coaching? or was this allowed? and was shooting sitting allowed?

70s would hold marksman thru expert, but 80 and under wouldn't get much in master. We shot spotter/shooter team. I shot with Zack Taylor. Next year they are talking adding a benchrest class for those that would want to.

It was a really excellent match with lots of great people. I'm glad I spent the last relay pulling targets, it was getting pretty hot out!

Thanks Don. I was really happy with my shooting, it was certainly the best I've shot at 1000 yards. On the second day I shot an 82 and I'd never shot in the 80's before. Then the next day, with some excellent spotting I managed to keep them all in the black and got an 89. I was probably the worlds happiest Canadian that day :-).

I messed it up on the last target by trying out my baco bore wipers instead of my 3 wet patches. I don't know what I did wrong, but had tons of vertical. The gun definitely had some carbon in it after that too. I'm sure I must have been doing something a little funny with them as they work for some shooters with a lot more talent and skill than I have, like our World Champion for instance!

The sauce used on those is the secret. I also think using a flannel patch instead of the arsenal patches works better
