RE: Montana 1000
When your name is called you shoot. No waiting for condition changes. It's just like the Q just 4 1000 yard targets.
One of those targets I had a problem with. It was very hard for me to pick up sitting in the shadows and there was a cedar above it about the same size I kept shooting at. I think I hit it enough that it should be dead this year
The reason a dog has so many friends is because he wags his tail instead of his tongue.

This will be my fourth 1000, I've never heard of time limits. PP shooters are not expected to rush their wiping routine. You don't have to try to keep up with the smokeless shooters. I try to get squaded with other bp shooters to minimize any self imposed stress to rush things.

That's really what I was wondering about. It's nice to be able to wait for conditions, but more important to me is that there is enough time for wiping. I'll have to think about this one. I haven't shot a match in Montana yet.
