Forsyth Monthly Buffalo Match
Finally got some rain and the Range was opened again so we had our first monthly Buffalo Rifle Match the 14th of Oct.
Unofficially
Dave Gamble was the winner (surprise, surprise) with 28/30. followed by Gary Campbell with 26 and Buz Coker with 25.
(Pat Menahan and Rick Smith also had 25)

19 shooters showed up. Weather was great.

My Daughter beat me again. I had her til the wheels fell off on my last target!! Confused

Might get the results from Dave one of these days and post them.

Oh absolutely !!!! I'm estatic when she does good.
My only dismay is my poor shooting. It's taken a year plus to figure out what went wrong. Hopefully it won't take that long to remedy the situation.

We all learn from our mistakes if we pay attention to what went wrong. That is how we get better.

Got a long Range shoot coming up again this Saturday. 1:00 weather permitting. 800, 900 and 1000.
Not sure if the 1200 buffalo is going to be up to lob at.
Prior commitments, I won't be there.

If a guy showed up down there with no sight settings and his first shoot ever, how many rounds do you think a guy would need?
How much early can one show up and maybe get some settings before the shoot? I guess I should ask, is anybody welcome?

Trap it's usually best to take at least twice the required amount to shoot the match.
Those guys are a top bunch and they'll get you right up and going.

Hey Don,
About how many do I need for the shoot 40 or 50 maybe? I will try to get 100 or so loaded up.
