I was unaware that you had to ask for them to be drilled and tapped.I thought to drill and tapping delrin would not lead to longevity of the threads.I bought a 8/32 female adapter and drilled as square of a hole as I could muster and epoxied the threaded end in.Now I have a brass female attachment as opposed to delrin,I think this will be a better set up than the delrin tapped hole and works perfectly.

Yup, done that on my first delrin rod 15 years ago. Most likely the best way to go, Big Grin.

I made up my own delrin rods. I threaded the end male 1/4-20 and made a brass tip to fit and glued it on. The brass was taped 8-32 to fit brushes and jags. I have not had any problems yet.
