RE: good buff hunting book
Thank you Ken S - I just finished reading Buffalo Runners by Gove. I found it a realistic story of the era of the buffalo hunters - pulls no punches and is true to actual accounts of the events that this novel depicts. It's not too bloody or gross - no agenda going on. It just gives a "day in the life" kind of account of the men, women, and rifles of that brief era of our history. If this book was a painting, I'd hang it on my wall.
